Why Would A Guy Stop Texting you?

Have you ever been in a new relationship, or just recently started texting a new guy, and everything is
going great– until all of a sudden he goes AWOL and stops replying? On top of that, it’s not the first time
it has happened; almost every guy you meet seems to disappear in a matter of weeks.
You’re left wondering what exactly are the reasons that drove him to become distant, or to leave
altogether?

Here are 5 reasons why guys stop texting suddenly:

1) You’re a side chick.
Sorry to break it to you ladies– but sometimes, you’re not the starring role of a guy’s love life. Whether
he’s boosting his ego by juggling more than one girl, or he already has a girlfriend, guys will back out
when the multitasking becomes to hard, and he might get caught. If you’re already familiar with this, you
should know when a guy is playing you. Move on!

2) You’re too available.
Guys love a good chase, and if you give into temptation too quickly, he’ll get bored just as fast. So ladies,
if you’re waiting by the phone, agonizing about when it’s going to ring– chances are, it won’t. Guys are
attracted to women who are unavailable, and love playing the game. However, they don’t want an easy
win, and play more for the thrill of it. Once they win, it’s hard to keep them hooked, and they’ll often start
to drift away, towards the next prize of a different game.

3) They’re not serious about you.
Guys tend to play the field more than girls, so don’t be surprised if he’s not making wedding plans after
the first date. If you’re just another fling, it’ll only be a matter of time before he moves onto someone new
and stops texting you.

4) You’re rushing into the relationship.
Guys usually prefer to take things slow and not rush into the relationship. Like the above-mentioned
reason, don’t be surprised if wedding church bells aren’t ringing in his head after a couple of weeks. If you
push it and you’re already planning your future together, it can scare him off and he’ll be running for the
hills in no time.

5) They’re scared of commitment.
The age old cliché is indeed true– guys are afraid of commitment. It’s sad to admit, but some guys will
pull back as soon as they start getting serious with you; they only want the fun part of the relationship, but
can’t handle the obstacles that come with it. If he seems uncomfortable answering emotional texts or
questions about your relationship, it might be a telltale sign that he’s not ready to settle down with you.
